1946 GEORGE FRENCH PHOTOS

I am jumping way ahead here - but since I just discovered these pictures posted at the Maine Library's digital collection, I thought I would post here.  The photos are identified as having been taken by George French, an iconic Maine photographer.  French, who died in 1970, documented life in Maine for the state's tourism Development Commission.  A large portfolio of his images can be found in the library's collection.

Does anyone recognize anyone?
